Cheers Cleaning Auckland Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of carpet & upholstery cleaning, home cleaning, office cleaning, and window cleaning services (collectively referred to as “Services”) by Cheers Cleaning Auckland (“Company”) to the customer (“Customer”).

1.Service Scope

•The scope of services includes carpet and upholstery cleaning, home cleaning, office cleaning, and window cleaning as specified in the agreement or work order.

2.Payment and Fees

•The Customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon fee for the Services in accordance with the pricing and payment terms specified in the agreement or invoice.

3.Late Payment Penalty

•A late payment fee of $29.9 will be applied for payments received more than 1 day after the due date. Additionally, an interest rate of 0.8% per day will be imposed on the overdue balance. If payment is not received, a debt collector may be involved for collection proceedings. Customers will be notified before any debt collection actions are taken to allow for resolution.

4.Scheduling and Rescheduling

•The Customer agrees to schedule Services in advance and notify the Company of any necessary rescheduling at least 24 hours in advance.

5.Cancellation Policy

•The Customer agrees to adhere to the cancellation policy outlined in the agreement or as communicated by the Company, including any associated fees. If the service is canceled or need to be rescheduled on-site, a call-out fee of $60 + GST will be charged to cover the costs incurred by the Company for the visit. This fee is applicable only if the cancellation occurs after the technician has arrived at the premises.

6.Access and Safety

•The Customer agrees to provide access to the premises for the provision of Services and ensure a safe and suitable environment for the Company’s staff.

7.Damages and Liability

•The Company will take reasonable care during the provision of Services but shall not be liable for damages to property or belongings unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8.Quality of Service

•The Company strives to ensure high-quality standards for the Services provided. If the Customer has any concerns or issues, they should report them within 24 hours after the completion of the Service for prompt resolution.

•Pricing is based on standard room size, lounge, and dining room size up to 20 square metres each.

•Carpet can only be dried up to 90% with our drying service and we do not dry steps. If it is raining, we are unable to dry carpets. We are unable to dry wool carpets.

•We do not move heavy & valuable furniture.

•Complaints must be made within one week of the applicable service date.

•Our minimum price is $130 + GST.

•Spot removal prices will be confirmed on-site with customers.

•If the carpet or upholstery requires a power vacuum service, we will need to vacuum it and some additional charge will be required even if you did not select the vacuum service when making your booking.

•Stains on wool carpets may not be completely removable. The technician will assess and confirm the possibility of stain removal on-site. Customers will be informed of the expected outcomes before proceeding with the service.

9.Confidentiality

•Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any information disclosed during the provision of Services.

10.Governing Law

•These Terms shall be governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand.

11.Modification of Terms

•The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective upon posting on the Company’s website or other communication channels.

By availing the Services, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions provided by Cheers Cleaning Auckland.

These Terms & Conditions now aim to provide clear, fair, and transparent guidelines for both the Company and the Customer, minimizing potential misunderstandings or disputes.
